‘Inventive design can turn a dud site into a destination.’ Time out, London. May 4 2011
We were asked to create an identity for a new restaurant and bar opening up in the creative hub of Fitzrovia near Oxford Circus. They came to us with the name The Riding House Café, taking reference from their location on Riding House Lane.
Whilst drawing inspiration from the name, yet wanting to give them something more inspired than just a horse-related identity, we devised a set of graphics based on different objects you can ride. From roller-skates to elephants, the graphics give a great sense of play to the quirky, NYC chic-inspired restaurant.
‘The food, the decor, the service, location and the menu design were all pretty wonderful.’ Urbanspoon 2011
A series of individual bar tab cards were designed. Each featuring it’s own riding imagery, as well as that all important address, should you forget where you were the night before. Cards printed by 00mph.
